Registration is now open for the Disney New Year's Baseball Classic at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World® Resort.

Application & Refund Process
The Baseball Sales team will review all applications and notify your team of its status as soon as possible. Upon acceptance into the tournament, your team will receive an invoice for the entry fee, which must be paid in full to guarantee your spot. The entry fee can be refunded until October 1, 2018, if we are notified in writing. Entry fee is non-refundable after October 1st. Events may be subject to availability, capacity limits, eligibility requirements, and may be subject to delay, change, or cancellation for inclement weather. Application deadline subject to change due to volume of applications and event capacity. In the event that an Age Division Bracket does not attain an adequate number of registered teams, the Tournament Director shall notify those registered teams as soon as possible. The teams will be given the option of playing up if available or receiving a refund.

* Specially priced Theme Park Ticket prices exclude sales tax, are solely for individuals who are participating in Disney New Year's Baseball Classic, such as athletes and spectators of the event, must be purchased in advance, and are non-transferable and non-refundable. Tickets are valid only on the specific days of the event and for a limited period of time before and/or after the event. Each day this Ticket is used constitutes one full day of use. Dining Options ESPN Wide World of Sports Grill
The ESPN Wide World of Sports Grill is a quick-service restaurant located at the entrance of ESPN Wide World of Sports. Menu items include burgers, sandwiches, and salads as well as an assortment of desserts and beverages.

Ordering Fresh Prepared Meals
Teams have the option to place catering orders in advance of their trip for quick, easy and well balanced fresh prepared meals, bulk beverages, and/or snacks. The convenience of having your meals planned in advance will save on time and stress.


Place your order at least 2 business days prior to the event date. Deliveries for Saturday, Sunday or Monday must be received by 3pm on Friday.

Reserve Hotel Through Anthony Travel
All athletes and coaches are required to book a minimum 5-night room requirement through Anthony Travel. Rooms are blocked at several hotels for Disney New Year's Baseball Classic participants and spectators. Participate in Express Check-in
Teams are required to have the team roster, birth certificates and completed waivers uploaded to GotSport by December 5th, 2018. Please see On-site Check in tab for more information

Attend On-Site Registration
A team representative is required to attend on-site check-in to verify information and receive the team's credentials for entrance to ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. Please see On-site Check in tab for more information

Complex Admission

Admission is required for all of your team's coaches, athletes and spectators visiting ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex*. All athletes and coaches will receive a length-of-event admission credential at on-site registration. Spectators may purchase daily or length-of-event admission tickets at the ESPN Wide World of Sports box office.

On-Site Event Check-In

In order to expedite on-site event check-in, we are requesting all teams participate in Advanced Online Check-in. Teams are required to submit rosters, completed waivers, and proof of age documents into their GotSport team account by December 5th, 2018. For additional details, click on the link below.

Required Documents

Waivers
Anyone appearing on the team roster is required to sign an event waiver. This includes athletes, coaches, batboy/batgirl, team managers, and scorekeepers. Waivers may be downloaded at the links below, and all waivers must be uploaded into GotSport by December 5th, 2018


A maximum of 20 players and 4 non-players (ie. coaches, scorekeeper, manager) will be allowed per team. A maximum of 2 bat boys/girls will be allowed per team and are required to be listed on team roster as well as have a waiver completed.

Proof of Age Documents
To maintain the integrity of the event, all participating players are required to submit proof of age documents (such as a birth certificate, passport, or Driver's License) confirming their age and eligibility. Documents must be uploaded to GotSport by December 5, 2018. Failure to meet any of these requirements will render a player ineligible to participate in the tournament. Any team found to be using an ineligible player would forfeit all Disney Baseball Tournament games in which the ineligible player has participated.

Bat Restrictions:

12U and younger: BPF 1.15, BBCOR, or USA Baseball designation must be displayed on the bat (no other weight or diameter restrictions)

13U and older: The bat must have a BBCOR or USA Baseball designation

Roster

Official Disney Baseball Roster must be filled out online with player's name, uniform number, and date of birth. Please read the Tournament Rules to ensure your team's compliance.

Eligibility

Players that are eligible to be added to your team roster are determined by the player age by May 1, 2019. These guidelines are:

8U Born no earlier than May 1, 2010
9U Born no earlier than May 1, 2009
10U Born no earlier than May 1, 2008
11U Born no earlier than May 1, 2007
12U Born no earlier than May 1, 2006
13U Born no earlier than May 1, 2005
14U Born no earlier than May 1, 2004
16U Born no earlier than May 1, 2002
18U Born no earlier than May 1, 2000

Host Hotels

All participants (athletes and coaches) are required to book a minimum 5-night stay in one of the tournament hotels and must make their reservations through Anthony Travel, the official Travel Provider for this tournament. Rooms are blocked at several hotels for all Disney New Year's Baseball Classic participants and spectators. Please note: Failure to make your reservations through Anthony Travel will result in the removal of your team for this tournament.

Guest Player Registration

Are you a player whose team will not be attending, but would like the opportunity to guest play with one of our participating teams? Players interested in being an eligible guest player can register online.
Guest Players will be required to purchase the minimum hotel booking requirement through Anthony Travel in order to participate.


Registering as a Guest Player does not guarantee a spot in Disney New Year's Baseball Classic.

COACHES:

If you are interested in adding a guest player to your team please follow the steps outlined below to access and add available guest players.

How to add a Guest Player to your roster:
  • Go to your Got Sport team page
  • Click on Disney New Year's Baseball Classic under Events Registration History
  • Click on the tab that says "Guest Player"
  • Select and contact the player from the list and add to your team
