Application & Refund Process
A Baseball Sales Manager will review all applications and notify your team of its status as soon as possible. Upon acceptance into the tournament, your team will receive an invoice for the entry fee, which must be paid in full to guarantee your spot. The entry fee can be refunded until May 16, 2018, if we are notified in writing. If you have questions about the application process, please call 407-938-3802 for assistance.

*Events may be subject to availability, capacity limits, eligibility requirements, and may be subject to delay, change, or cancellation for inclement weather. Application deadline subject to change due to volume of applications and event capacity. In the event that an Age Division Bracket does not attain an adequate number of registered teams, the Tournament Director shall notify those registered teams as soon as possible. The teams will be given the option of playing up if available or receiving a refund.

Travel Packages

Domestic Teams

From world-class resorts and theme parks, to an exhilarating baseball experience at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, home of Atlanta Braves Spring Training, Disney Baseball is a young baseball player's dream come true.

All athletes and coaches are required to book a minimum travel package through Disney Sports Travel to participate in the event. Package prices start at $577* per person (based on quad occupancy) for Disney's Pop Century Resort or $635 per person (based on quad occupancy) for Disney's Coronado Springs Resort and include:

  • Minimum six night accommodations
  • 3-Day Magic Your Way® Base Ticket which entitles you to three (3) days admission to one of the following theme parks for each day of the ticket:
  • Tournament party at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park
  • Disney's Magical Express® includes motorcoach transportation from Orlando International Airport to WDW® Resorts
  • Transportation from select WDW® Resorts to ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex during the event
  • Transportation from WDW® Resorts to Walt Disney World® Theme Parks and other attractions

Specially priced packages are available for all members of your traveling party, making Disney Baseball the perfect summer vacation. Your Disney Sports Travel Coordinator will be able to assist you with ticket upgrades, additional room nights, vehicle rentals, and airfare options.

*All package prices listed are per person based on a 4-person occupancy standard room. The number of packages available at this rate are limited and advanced reservations are required. Minimum night stay required. No more than 4-persons per room. Additional fees may apply if more than 2 adults per room. Tickets are valid only on the specific dates of the event and for a limited period of time before and/or after the event. Each day this Ticket is used at any Theme Park constitutes one full day of use. Some activities/events may be separately priced. Age restrictions may apply for access to certain facilities. Numbers of visits depends on number of days of Magic Your Way Tickets purchased. Ticket types and entitlements subject to change without notice. Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable. Parking is not included unless staying at Hotels of the WALT DISNEY WORLD® Resort. Sports specially-priced packages are for participants and their spectators only. No other discounts apply. Offer is nontransferable.

International Team Registration



  • All international teams must stay at the Walt Disney World® Resort and purchase a travel package for each athlete, coach/manager, bat boy/girl, and spectator on the team through Disney Sports Travel.
  • All teams must be confirmed and fully paid no later than 30 days prior to the event. Late payments are subject to extra fees.
  • Each team is limited to a maximum of 20 athletes, 4 non-athletes (i.e. coach, manager), and 2 bat boys/girls
  • A team’s age division will be determined by a May 1, 2018 age cutoff
  • Travel partners are responsible for the entire group's registration, documentation, and necessary invoices for payment.
  • Travel partners will be responsible for securing the travel package components from the Disney tournament sales representatives and providing them to the teams.

Booking Process

  • Step 1:Apply for Disney International Salute to Baseball.
  • Step 2: After receiving your room request and corresponding deposit, confirm your participation in the tournament by signing and returning your package agreement.
  • Step 3: Collect all required paperwork to ensure your participation in the tournament:
    • Rooming List
    • Completed athlete and coach waivers, copies of proof of age and team roster. Submit into GotSport.
  • Step 4: Final payments are due 30 days prior the group/team arrival. Payments can be made via wire transfer, credit card or approved company check. Late payments are subject to extra fees.

Important Dates


  • All international teams must be fully registered and paid 45 days prior to the event.


  • Only teams that have a signed contract with deposit are eligible to receive Visa assistance. Deadline for visa assistance is 75 days prior to arrival. A rooming list must be provided to get Visa assistance.


  • The team has 15 days from the date to return the package agreement with the deposit payment.


  • Full payment must be received at least 30 days prior to arrival. Teams that do not finalize all payments 30 days prior to arrival will be subject to late fees, forfeit of deposit, and other penalties that can include cancellation from the tournament.


  • An accurate and final rooming list is due 60 days prior to arrival.


  • Must be uploaded into GotSport 45 days prior to arrival:
    • Copy of passport
    • Signed Disney Sports waiver for athletes and coaches

Event Transportation

Transportation to and from the sports complex is provided at Disney's Pop Century Resort or Disney's Coronado Springs Resort for those who purchased a travel package through Disney Sports Travel. There are complementary Disney buses available to transport players, coaches and spectators to and from Disney Resorts and between Disney theme parks.

Water Park Party Transportation

Transportation will be provided to/from Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park from your resort starting 30 minutes prior to event party start time. Guests wishing to utilize their ticket for admission during mix-in time period should utilize regular Walt Disney World Transportation to Disney Springs and then take the shuttle from Disney Springs to Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.

ESPN Wide World of Sports Grill
The ESPN Wide World of Sports Grill is a quick-service restaurant located at the entrance to the sports complex. Menu items include burgers, sandwiches, and salads as well as an assortment of desserts and beverages.

Dining Options Ordering Fresh Prepared Meals
Teams have the option to place catering orders in advance of their trip for quick, easy and well balanced fresh prepared meals, bulk beverages, and/or snacks. The convenience of having your meals planned in advance will save on time and stress.

Place your order at least 2 business days prior to the event date. Deliveries for Saturday, Sunday or Monday must be received by 3pm on Friday.

Don't miss a magical moment! Register for the ESPN Wide World of Sports Gameday Photos service, and a professional Disney photographer will be dedicated to cover your team and/or athlete.*

*To ensure quality photography, only teams and/or athletes that register for ESPN Wide World of Sports Gameday Photos will receive photo service. Gameday Photos does not photograph all games and participants, only those who reserve a photographer. By focusing on the athletes that have registered for photography, we are able to capture more relevant images for a greater, high-quality selection to choose from.

Register for Disney International Salute to Baseball and submit registration fee once invoiced.

Submit initial rooming list to Disney Sports Travel 60 days prior to arrival. Confirm Disney Magical Express (DME) reservation with Disney Sports Travel.

Make final payment to Disney Sports Travel and upload completed roster and player/coach waivers into GotSport 30 days prior to arrival

Attend On-Site Check-In. A team representative must attend on-site check-in to provide proof of age (birth certificate, passport, government issued ID) and pick up event credentials.

Complex Admission

All spectators are required to purchase admission into ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex for either an individual daily admission or a length-of-event (LOE) pass that is valid for all days of the team's stay. LOE and daily admission tickets are non-refundable/non-exchangeable, regardless of number of days your team competes. Spectators can purchase their packages through Disney Sports Travel by calling 407-939-7810.

  • There is no charge for children under age 3

On-Site Event Check-In

Express Check-In
Starting in 2018, teams are now required to utilize Express Check-In to submit required documents for Disney International Salute to Baseball. Coaches are required to submit both the participant and coach waiver forms, as well as proof of age documents into the team’s GotSport account.

A team representative will still be required to attend on-site check-in to do final verification of the team’s roster and to receive athlete and coach credentials that grant access to ESPN Wide World of Sports for competition.

The tournament director and umpire in chief will be present to answer any tournament related questions.

Required Documents

In order to expedite on-site event check-in, all teams must upload required documents into their GotSport team account by submission deadline. Please see On-site Check-in tab for submission deadline dates.

Anyone appearing on the team roster is required to sign an event waiver. This includes athletes, coaches, batboy/batgirl, team managers, and scorekeepers. Waivers are available at the links below.

A maximum of 20 players and 4 non-players (ie. coaches, scorekeeper, manager) will be allowed per team. A maximum of 2 bat boys/girls will be allowed per team and are required to be listed on team roster as well as have a waiver completed.

Proof of Age Documents
To maintain the integrity of the event, all participating players are required to submit a birth certificate, passport, Driver's License, or State issued ID confirming their age and eligibility. Failure to meet this requirement will render a player ineligible to participate in the tournament. Any team found to be using an ineligible player would forfeit all Disney Baseball Tournament games in which the ineligible player has participated.

Complete your tournament roster in GotSport and include participant's first and last name, jersey number, and date of birth.

Rules, Rosters, & Eligibility


Your team and its athletes are responsible for knowing and following the official tournament rules. After reassessment, the following bat restrictions will be implemented for Disney International Salute to Baseball. To view complete rules, please visit the link below.

12U and younger: BPF 1.15, BBCOR, or USA Baseball designation must be displayed on the bat (no other weight or diameter restrictions)
13U and older: The bat must have a BBCOR or USA Baseball designation

Disney Baseball Rules


Official Disney Baseball Roster must be filled out online with player's name, uniform number, and date of birth. Please read the Tournament Rules to ensure your team's compliance.

Eligibility Players that are eligible to be added to your team roster are determined by the player age by May 1, 2018. These guidelines are:

Water Park Party

Location: Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park

  • Enjoy some time away from the field and escape to a tropical paradise for a splash-filled nighttime adventure at the 2018 Disney International Salute to Baseball tournament party at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. From fast waterslides to a wave pool with six-foot waves, Typhoon Lagoon is fun for the whole family. Party guests enjoy exclusive access to popular attractions.

    Services offered for an additional cost include:

    • Lockers
    • Cash bars will be open for Guests over 21.


    Party tickets are included exclusively in Disney Baseball Travel Packages for participants and spectators. Party tickets will not be available for purchase separately or on a walk-up basis. Guests' party tickets will be valid for admission starting at mix-in time listed above. Food and Beverage options will not be available for 90 minutes prior to event start time to allow for set-up.

    **Disney International Salute to Baseball Tournament Party elements, including but not limited to participating locations, menus, attractions and entertainment are subject to availability, delay, change, or cancellation for any reason, including inclement weather, without notice. Standard Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park admission tickets will not allow Guests to attend the Disney International Salute to Baseball Tournament Party.

Guest Player Registration

Are you a player whose team will not be attending, but would like the opportunity to guest play with one of our participating teams? Players interested in being an eligible guest player can register online. Guest Players will be required to purchase the minimum travel package through Disney Sports Travel in order to participate.


Registering as a Guest Player does not guarantee a spot in Disney International Salute to Baseball.


If you are interested in adding a guest player to your team please follow the steps outlined below to access and add available guest players.

How to add a Guest Player to your roster:
