Registration is now open for the 2014Disney Field Hockey Classic at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World® Resort.

Application & Refund Process
Teams can receive a full refund on their entry fee if they cancel before May 22, 2014. After that time, entry fees are non-transferable and non-refundable. Notification of cancellation must be received in writing. Please contact a member of the Disney Field Hockey Sales team at 407-938-3439 with any questions.

*All coaches and athletes are required to purchase a minimum hotel stay through our approved travel provider. For complete details, view the Hotels information. This is a USA Field Hockey sanctioned event. All teams must be members in good standing of a club recognized as a Club Member of USA Field Hockey at time of application. All participating players and coaches must also be registered members of USA Field Hockey. Please note, memberships will be verified on the team application and team rosters. Please refer to www.usafieldhockey.com for club and individual membership information.

Submit Required Documents (Due June 10, 2014)
  • TEAM ROSTER - Teams are required to submit an online roster through the USA Field Hockey website. Roster limits are 14 athletes and 2 coaches. Rosters missing any USFHA membership numbers will be viewed as incomplete and therefore discarded.

Game Schedule (July 10, 2014)
The preliminary game schedule will be posted on www.espnwwos.com. A final schedule will be available at Coaches Registration on Thursday, July 24, 2014.

On-Site Event Check-In Thursday, July 24
One team representative is required to attend registration between 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. at ESPN Wide World of Sports. Upon arrival, signs will direct you to the exact location. The team representative will verify rosters, submit waivers, and receive the team's credentials for admission to the Sports Complex for the duration of the event.

Waiver Information
Teams are required to submit signed Disney Sports Waivers for each team member and coach that will be listed on your official team roster. Please note as our waiver system has changed from previous years. You are no longer required to send them prior to the event. Please have them prepared for registration check in. Travel Packages

Disney Junior Field Hockey Classic has a "Stay to Play" policy. It is mandatory that all teams make hotel arrangements through our designated travel provider, Disney Sports Travel.

We are offering the following travel package for 2014 Disney Junior Field Hockey Classic:

- 3-Night Resort Room at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort or Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort
- 1-Day, 1-Park Theme Park Ticket
- 1 Length of Event Admission Ticket to ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex
- Bus Transportation to/from ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex
- Disney’s Magical Express to/from Orlando International Airport

Packages start at $215 per Guest for Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort, and $255 per Guest for Disney’s Coronado Spring Resort (based on four Guests in one room). There will be meal plans available for additional costs, and you also have the option upgrade your theme park ticket.

ESPN Wide World of Sports Grill
The ESPN Wide World of Sports Grill is a quick-service restaurant located at the entrance to the sports complex. Menu items include burgers, sandwiches, and salads as well as an assortment of desserts and beverages.

Dining Options Ordering Boxed Meals
Teams have the option to place catering orders in advance of their trip for quick, easy and well balanced boxed meals, bulk beverages, and/or snacks. The convenience of having your meals planned in advance will save on time and stress.


Place your order at least 2 business days prior to the event date. Deliveries for Saturday, Sunday or Monday must be received by 3pm on Friday.

Complex Admission

Spectator admission is required for all tournament games at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. Length-of-Event tournament passes (LOE) allow for admission to all days of the tournament.
  • Daily admission: - $ 16.50 (ages 10 and over) $ 11.50 (ages 3-9)
  • LOE admission: - $ 33.00 (ages 10 and over ) $ 23.00 (ages 3-9)

Transportation

DISNEY'S MAGICAL EXPRESS
Magical Express offers the perfect game plan for a hassle free arrival to and from Orlando International Airport. This exclusive, complimentary shuttle and luggage delivery service conveniently provides transportation for your team from Orlando International Airport to and from Walt Disney World® owned and operated resorts*.

ON-SITE EVENT TRANSPORTATION On-site transportation to and from ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex is provided for teams staying at Disney's All-Star Movies Resort and Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. If your team is staying at any other resort or hotel, you will need to arrange for transportation to and from ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. All teams must provide their own transportation to and from off-site venues

*Disney's Magical Express is not available if your team will not be staying at a Hotel of the Walt Disney World® Resort.

On-Site Event Check-In

Coaches' Meeting

A coach from each team is required to attend a mandatory meeting that will take place from 6:00 p.m. - 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 24th at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. Please contact USA Field Hockey if you have any questions.

Required Documents

WAIVERS
All of your participants appearing on the roster (coaches, athletes, staff, etc.) must sign an event waiver. Waivers may be downloaded at the links below, and all waivers must be presented at team check-in when you arrive for the event.

RULES
Rules for Disney Junior Field Hockey Classic will be available in February 2014.

Rosters & Eligibility

USA Field Hockey Roster Verfication Instructions

This is a USA Field Hockey sanctioned event. Please note, memberships will be verified on the team application and team rosters.

Guest Player Registration

Guest Player Eligibility to participate in USA Field Hockey Events:
  • Clubs may have up to three guest players per tournament per team.
  • Guest players are members of the club they are affiliated with and are not considered members of the club they are participating with as a guest player.
  • The guest player must be a USA Field Hockey player member in good standing.
  • Guest players must be included on the official roster submitted at the start of the event. Guest players may not switch teams after the start of the tournament. The start of the tournament is when the first game begins; not when a particular team plays its first game.

How to enter the Guest Player Pool:
  • Players individually register for the event below
  • Under Player Information, for the Player ID#, please use your USA Field Hockey ID


There is no fee to register as a guest player. Also, there is no guarantee that athletes who register for the guest player pool will be picked up by a team.

Teams are able to view/acquire registered guest players through their team account page, after the team has been accepted. Once logged in to your team account page, click on Disney Junior Field Hockey Classic 2014, in the tournament box, and you will see the 'Guest' tab at the top of the screen. Click on the tab to access the pool of individual player's and their information.
