It was a ‘whole new game’ as the NBA finished out their 2019-2020 season at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort. Restarting with 22 teams over three months, the league crowned the Los Angeles Lakers as champions during the 2020 NBA Finals. Here is a by-the-numbers look at how everything came together at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex:

• The NBA campus featured seven practice facilities, which included state-of-the-art weight rooms and training facilities, as well as basketball courts provided by the Miami Heat, Indiana Pacers and Orlando Magic.

• ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex hosted a total of 205 games, 145 of those televised, since play resumed.

• For each NBA Finals 2020 game, 320 virtual fans (including Mickey Mouse during Game 5), who were watching from home, could be seen via courtside screens inside AdventHealth Arena.

• It took 30 days to assemble all game and practice courts, utilizing a total of 4,627 hardwood panels. Fourteen semi-trucks drove 16,780 miles to deliver all basketball floors to Orlando, with the weight of the courts on campus weighing up to 583,000 pounds.

• Three hotels at Walt Disney World have been used to house players, coaches, team basketball staffs, media, broadcasters and league personnel living in the Orlando campus, with more than 115 vehicles transporting them around.

• According to league sources, there have been more than 1,800 pickleball games played on the NBA campus at Disney and more than 525 fishing excursions booked on campus.
